How to lose weight fast

Here I’m going to share how to lose weight fast. Whilst there’s no way you’re going to lose 20lbs in one week, or lose 50lbs in a month, you can get to your goal weight faster using the diet tips here.

The top 3 challenges to overcome to lose weight fast:

  1. Getting your diet started – motivation!
  2. Cravings and binging
  3. Handling plateaus

I’ll give you tips on all three, but first you’ll need to know which diet to choose and how much to eat. Of course, before you do anything, if you have any concerns or have any health issues, you should talk to your Doctor. Otherwise, and if you’ve had the go ahead from your Doctor, read on.

You want to know how to lose weight fast? – First find the right diet.

WEEKS 1 to 4

I’ve done research on lots of different types of diets. And like them for different reasons. But if you want to know how to lose weight fast, there’s one diet at the top of the list. Overweight heart patients who need to lose weight rapidly prior to surgery, are given this diet by healthcare professionals.

Use the Sacred Heart diet for weeks 1 to 4 of your diet, it’s a 7 day plan that can be repeated.

How much weight will you lose in 4 weeks?

You know that I’m going to say that it depends. And you’re right I am going to tell you that. And that’s because no two people are the same and no two people will react in the same way to this diet. If your starting weight is 200lbs+, you’ll lose more than if you weigh 135lbs when you start the diet. But, here’s the rub, this diet works fast, it’s designed that way and so reports of 10lbs being lost in a week are not unusual. Of course it won’t all be fat as you’ll be detoxing and flushing out fluid too, but you will feel lighter and your clothes should fit better too.

But you don’t just want to know how to lose weight fast do you?

You want to actually lose weight fast

So, here’s how to deal with the challenges you’ll face on this pretty strict diet regime:

  1. Getting your diet started – motivation!
    • You’ve taken the first step already by reading this article, but if you need a bit more help, read our tips. The most important one for this method is setting the start date – you’ll need to go shopping to make sure you have everything you need.
  2. Cravings and binging
    • You shouldn’t struggle too much in this area, because the diet doesn’t mess around with your blood sugar levels. But, if you feel yourself slipping, be ready and make sure you read our craving buster article.
  3. Handling plateaus
    • You won’t have much time for plateaus on this 4 week plan, but the rate at which you lose weight will slow down. This is because in the first two weeks your body will be adjusting and flushing out fluid and toxins along with the fat. And so once your system is clean, you’ll see a drop in the rate of weight loss. At this point you just need to stay on plan – we know, easier said than done right? Use our diet tips and tricks to help keep yourself on track.

Is this the only answer to the question “how to lose weight fast”?

This is of course, just one way to lose weight fast and it won’t be right for everyone. If it’s not the right one for you, stay a while and read through the weight loss guide and blog. I hope you’ll find the inspiration and help you’re looking for.
