This site was founded by Anni in the late ’90’s.

Anni,has lost over 55lbs in weight (more than once) and admits it’s been a life long struggle. Now at 50 +, she’s still sharing what she’s learned along the way. Read her tips, tricks and insights into staying motivated on the weight loss journey and on how to lose weight.

As well as regular articles, information on diets and exercise and tips and tricks, Anni built lots of calculators and weight loss tools to help in her quest to reach her target weight and these are available here  for everyone to use.

The website is the output of a genuine interest and reflects Anni’s experiences and views. It doesn’t aim or claim to be any more than that. The site history

Originally based on a .com domain back before the turn of the century, 1is2fat moved to its .co.uk domain in 2017 when Anni rebuilt the site from the ground up to take account of changes in technology and to enable visitors to view and use it on mobile devices.
