Your BMI let’s you see how your body weight differs from what is considered normal, healthy or desirable for someone of your height. Remember though that although some of the excess weight may be down to body fat, some other factors such as how muscular you are, also affect BMI significantly – check your body fat percentage to help you find out how your BMI is made up.
